Mikail Sürer received The Successful Health Tourism Brand of the Year Award on behalf of Emsey Hospital in the Best’s of Economy’s Summit Awards, traditionally organized by Ekonomize. The ceremony that elite’s of business, economy, politics, society, and media world’s have awarded hit the headlines.

Mikail Sürer, who spoke for Emsey Hospital, evaluated our country’s potential in health tourism, goals and current situation. Mikail Sürer who received The Successful Health Tourism Brand of the Year Award, said, ‘’As Emsey Hospital, we are a strong hospital of a strong country. We take our strength from our country and our nation. As the main theme of our ceremony, I would like to talk with you about our health tourism activities today briefly. Our country has undergone a revolution in health since 2002. First of all, as a health care professional, I can easily say that; Today, our country's public and private hospitals closely follow and implement all health innovations. Therefore, I would like to say that today, there is no difference between a treatment received in America and our country.’’

Our Goal For The Health Tourism is 20 Million Dollars!

By interpreting current health tourism data, Mikail said, ‘’Our country has a good location in health tourism. According to 2018 data, the amount of health tourism circulating in the World is approximately 500 billion dollars. The projected amount for 2023 is; $ 1 trillion. Our countries goal in 2023 is 20 billion dollars. We revolutionized in health, but we are far behind our goals in health tourism. If we evaluate our country not only about health but also in tourism, today, Turkey is the cradle of the religions and the Common history of civilizations with İstanbul, eastern and southeastern of Turkey. And Turkey is placed near the top of the World’s thermal tourism. We are a country surrounded on three sides by the sea and that has holiday tourism. Today, Turkey is one of the rare countries that can provide service in health, religious tourism as well as in holiday and thermal tourism. It is our duty to announce these. As Emsey Hospital, we started with this intention and now we are receiving patients from 92 countries. This is an honor for us. Thank you very much to everyone. ”
