Occupational Health and Safety Policy
As Emsey Hospital, within the scope of the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 and all relevant national and international legislation, we adopt the principle of “Occupational Health and Safety First.”
Our main objective is to create a healthy, safe, and sustainable working environment for our employees, subcontractor employees, interns, patients, patient relatives, and visitors. For this purpose, we aim to minimize all kinds of potential losses by developing safe methods, to prevent risks at their source, and to ensure continuous improvement.
Our institution, acting with the understanding that “All accidents and occupational diseases are preventable,” is based on a management approach sensitive to people and the environment and carries out all its activities to develop the culture of occupational health and safety. In this context, we:
- Aim to instill an occupational health and safety culture in all employees, making safe behavior a habit and a lifestyle,
- Strive to achieve the target of “zero work accidents, zero occupational diseases” by taking proactive measures,
- Detect and eliminate existing and potential risks in our workplaces through regular and effective risk assessments or reduce them to acceptable levels,
- Carry out continuous improvement activities within the framework of education, practice, research, transparency, and participation,
- Provide regular occupational health and safety training to raise the awareness of our employees,
- Act within the framework of personal data protection and ethical values in all activities,
- Be prepared for possible emergencies such as fire, earthquake, chemical leakage by making plans, conducting drills, and taking all necessary preventive measures,
- Protect the health of our employees and all individuals receiving services by ensuring the safe and proper use of devices, machinery, and equipment,
- Implement occupational health and safety practices in accordance with relevant legal regulations and international standards,
and accept these as our corporate commitments.
Occupational health and safety is an indispensable priority in all activity areas of our hospital. Each individual is obliged to fulfill their duties within their authority and responsibilities to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
