Internal Medicine
From febrile illnesses to metabolic diseases, from kidney disorders to liver diseases, the Internal Medicine Department is the primary point of application and solution for all such problems.
In our Internal Medicine Departments, in addition to general internal medicine, we also provide services in collaboration with specialties such as hematology, oncology, nephrology, endocrinology, cardiology, rheumatology, and gastroenterology. The department, known to the public as Internal Medicine, is a broad field of science. This unit is where our patients with various problems are evaluated and treated both on an outpatient and inpatient basis, serving as a guide within our hospital for resolving these issues. Therefore, this is the department where examinations are performed, the initial diagnosis is made, and depending on the condition of the disease, treatment is arranged and the patient is referred to the relevant specialty. From a general perspective, the main principle of our General Internal Medicine department is to evaluate and treat the patient objectively.
Nephrology
In our Nephrology Unit, we provide care for patients with kidney disorders. This department functions as the nephrology consultation and hypertension clinic. In our wards, we perform the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases, manage hypertension and preeclampsia cases, and carry out kidney biopsies. When necessary, we also apply hemodialysis and CVVH (continuous veno-venous hemofiltration) therapies.
Hematology
We provide a wide range of hematology services such as diagnosis, treatment, and genetic counseling for hemoglobinopathies, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of lymphomas, leukemias, and coagulation disorders.
Endocrinology
Our Endocrinology Unit is the department that provides treatment for system physiology and thyroid diseases, diabetes, obesity, lipid disorders, osteoporosis, adrenal gland disorders, reproductive endocrinology, and pituitary diseases.
Gastroenterology
For the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the digestive system, our hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art upper and lower gastrointestinal video endoscopy systems and visual documentation tools. In addition, our unit contains hemostatic devices such as “Heat Probe” or “Argon Laser” used in the treatment of acute bleeding in the digestive system.
