Nutrition is a scientific discipline that requires formal education. It ensures the organization of individual and public nutrition plans and programs in line with the principles of nutritional science, for the growth, development, lifelong health protection, and improved quality of life of individuals. - Ketogenic Diet: Low in carbohydrates, balanced protein, and high fat, designed to induce ketosis so the body uses its own fat as an energy source. Must be applied under professional supervision.
- Intermittent Fasting: Various types exist, most commonly the 16:8 method – fasting for 16 hours and eating during an 8-hour window, with calorie-free beverages allowed during fasting.
- Detox: A program that excludes some animal products, sugar, and caffeine, focusing on seasonal fruits and vegetables to help remove toxins from the body.
Outpatient (Polyclinic) Services
Personalized nutrition and diet programs are prepared for patients visiting our polyclinic. First, a detailed nutrition history (anamnesis) is taken. Then, weight measurement and body composition analysis (BIA) are performed to evaluate muscle and fat mass. Blood parameters are also reviewed, and an appropriate nutrition plan is prepared. Follow-ups are scheduled when necessary.
The goal is to create a permanent change in eating habits so that the weight lost is maintained long-term. Alternative exchange lists are used during the diet period to avoid monotony and ensure the program is easy to follow in all environments without isolating the person from social life. In this way, patients can lose weight, gain weight, or maintain their current weight healthily.
Inpatient (Clinic) Services
Diet services for hospitalized patients are provided by the dietitian according to the diagnosis made by the physician. Personalized nutrition programs are created according to the patient’s condition and energy needs to support treatment. During routine checks, the diet is reviewed and adjusted if necessary. Throughout the hospital stay, patients are monitored under the dietitian’s supervision, and appropriate nutrition education is provided.
