Peer Bullying Awareness Seminar Held at Biltek Private School
On June 4, 2026, an informative seminar titled "Peer Bullying and Peer Relationships" was held at Biltek Private School by Psychologist Tuba Yıldırım Üstünel.
During the seminar, peer bullying, which can occur during childhood and adolescence, was discussed. Information was shared about the different types of bullying, their effects on children, and the importance of early identification. The seminar also emphasized the importance of supporting healthy communication skills, developing empathy, and creating safe social environments throughout students' social development.
As part of the event, participants were informed about behavioral signs that parents and educators should be aware of, approaches that can be adopted in cases of bullying, and the importance of effective communication with children. With the increasing use of digital platforms, the seminar also addressed cyberbullying to raise awareness of this growing concern.
The seminar concluded with a question-and-answer session, followed by the sharing of additional information on the topic.
