SAS (Healthcare Accreditation Standards)
TÜSKA, a member of ISQua (The International Society for Quality in Healthcare), the global umbrella organization for quality and accreditation activities, accredited Emsey Hospital with the SAS certificate for achieving success in healthcare quality and accreditation.
Ministry of Health – Healthcare Quality Standards
Emsey Hospital provides services in line with the “Healthcare Quality Standards” and the “Regulation on the Development and Evaluation of Quality in Healthcare,” created to establish a national quality system in healthcare.
TURQUALITY
In 2018, our hospital was included in the Branding Support program initiated by the Ministry of Trade, the first and only state-supported branding program, designed to enable Turkish brands to become global players in international markets where our country holds a competitive advantage, and to establish a positive image of Turkish goods and services. In 2023, our hospital was included in the final and highest stage: TURQUALITY.
EUROSPINE (Surgical Spine Centre of Excellence)
Our hospital became the first hospital accredited in Asia and Turkey by the EuroSpine Society, receiving the “Spine Surgery Centre of Excellence” certificate.
Health Tourism Authorization Certificate
Our hospital was the first to receive the “Health Tourism Authorization Certificate” from the Ministry of Health in 2017.
ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certificate
Our hospital’s management systems were independently audited and certified as being systematic, rule-based, compliant with defined standards, and sustainable, granting us the “ISO 9001:2015” certificate.
ISO 27001 Information Security Management System
Our hospital has been awarded the “ISO 27001 Information Security Management System” certificate, a set of standards designed to store, protect, and keep information secure.
ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management System
In our hospital, the meal services provided to patients, companions, and staff are certified with the “Food Safety Certificate,” confirming that food is prepared and consumed in accordance with its intended use.
Zero Waste Certificate
We have been awarded the Zero Waste Certificate, which covers preventing waste, using resources more efficiently, minimizing or eliminating waste generation, and ensuring waste is collected separately at its source and recycled.
JCI
In 2014, our hospital was accredited by JCI (Joint Commission International), a quality accreditation body, following an inspection. As of 2023, the re-accreditation process is being planned.
